Here at the Youth Sport Trust we believe passionately in using the power of sport to improve the lives of young people. Working in conjunction with Sport England and UK Sport – and seizing the potential created by 2012 – we are creating the impetus for change that will impact on the way sport is used to improve the lives of millions of young people for years to come. Join us as a Public Affairs Officer and help us strengthen our reputation and influence by engaging with key partners who will be instrumental in helping us achieve change.
Using your strong professional background in policy development and working knowledge of the UK political system, you will plan, deliver and evaluate a public affairs strategy which enables the Youth Sport Trust to maximise its influencing objectives and strengthen its reputation among key policy and decision-makers.
It’s a highly visible role that will see you acting as our ambassador, briefing MPs, positioning school sport on the policy agenda and providing policy advice to senior colleagues. With your experience of successfully managing political relationships, you are capable of communicating across various channels and to numerous audiences.
Join our team as a Public Affairs Officer and enjoy benefits including 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, pension contribution of 5% of basic salary, childcare vouchers and healthy living allowance.
