WWF, the global conservation organisation, is looking to fill a full-time position in its Brussels European Policy Office to work as Climate and Energy Project Officer
The Climate and Energy Project Officer will ensure the timely delivery of a set of research papers and consultation exercises in the context of a long-term decarbonisation strategy.
S/he will manage contracts with, oversee content development by and ensure delivery from external analysts supporting the project. In addition s/he will cooperate with the communications unit to develop and carry out a series of online and in-person consultative forums and public events.
The successful candidate will have a graduate degree in a relevant discipline, as well as two or more years of relevant professional experience in energy and/or climate protection, with a particular emphasis on research or analysis of policy or technical options. S/he will be output-oriented with good organisational and time management skills, able to manage a multi-faceted project to time and budget.
The post will be initially on a one year contract (with possibility of extension). The post will be offered under a Belgian contract.
