The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is looking for a Vice President of Government Affairs. The person in this position reports to the Senior Vice President and General Counsel. In this role, the Vice President of Government Affairs will be responsible for developing and executing the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond’s government relationship strategy, which will include programs to enhance public officials’ understanding and trust in the Federal Reserve. The Vice President will facilitate effective dialogue between the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and legislators throughout the Fifth District and on key committees on the Bank’s views and recommendations on policy matters. The Vice President will provide up-to-date information concerning proposed legislation, as well as views of legislative members in areas of concern to the Fifth District. The Vice President will prepare presentations provided by senior leaders, respond to inquiries by legislative members and keep management informed of congressional developments that are of interest to the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. The position will be located in Richmond, VA and requires frequent and regular travel across the Fifth District and the DC Metro area.
