Powell Tate, the Washington office of Weber Shandwick, is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist with expertise in Health Policy. The ideal candidate will have both a deep background in communications and health policy issues with knowledge of reimbursement and managed care issues a plus. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts, driving new business, communications plan development, managing teams, and providing senior counsel to leading health care company clients. Excellent strategic thinking, communications and writing skills, strong organization and management abilities, and an ability to handle fast-paced public affairs assignments is required.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 12 years work experience within public relations firms and/ or relevant health policy communications experience within the private sector or on the Hill is required.
