Director of Technology Policy Development
The Director of Technology Policy Development provides executive leadership for technology-related policy initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President of Government Relations and Strategic Initiatives, you will represent the hospital in high-level efforts with key Albany and Washington stakeholders, with the goal of shaping and enhancing state and federal policy.
Currently at the top of our policy agenda is the historic EMR initiative. NewYork-Presbyterian was recently awarded a $10.8 million development grant for Health Information Exchange, which will help us explore Meaningful Use and clinical integration to achieve healthcare reform. The goal: To make EMRs available nationwide, enhancing delivery of care for people from every economic background.

Qualified candidates must have a bachelors degree along with a minimum eight years related experience. A masters degree is preferred. Your experience must include leadership of complex advocacy programs. Experience with policy and government relations is also required.
