The Strategic Communications & Planning Department is responsible for leading NSPCC corporate communications and planning all elements of the delivery of the communications strategy. It oversees key corporate areas including communications around our thematic priorities, policy activity and major research initiatives, as well as the overall NSPCC strategy. The senior communications officer will bring together integrated communications programmes for the NSPCC Strategy & Development Division. This includes the planning, development and delivery of NSPCC communications around its thematic priorities, commissioned programmes and policy and research initiatives. The post-holder will have experience of success in maximising results in a high-profile communications environment both as part of a team and working with other teams and departments. The post-holder will be able to demonstrate effective inter-personal skills and highly developed written and verbal communications skills
