Details	To further strengthen our European presence and impact, Novozymes is opening an office in Brussels. We are looking for a personality to help achieve our ambitious goals by building relations with policymakers and the media. The position will be instrumental in successfully establishing our representation in Brussels. You will help develop, manage, coordinate, and execute public affairs and public relations strategies across Europe. Qualifications As the ideal candidate possesses: • M.Sc in e.g. Political Science, Public Administration or related field • 7-10 years of experience in public affairs and government relations, of which at least 5 years in Brussels • Solid experience with the functioning of EU institutions, particularly the European Parliament, and the regulatory process • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and a keen attention to detail • Excellent business understanding, strategic mindset and an international outlook • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate messages in a variety of settings to a variety of audiences • Ability to formulate and articulate clear messages about complex and science based subjects, incl. the ability to craft legislative language • Practical experience from e.g. agriculture, energy or environmental sectors • Fluency in English is a must, and excellent knowledge of French and/or German an asset Challenges You will serve as our representatives on the ground in Brussels and as our experts in EU legislative and PR matters, becoming an integral part of our global team for public affairs, public relations and communications working closely with professionals across four continents.
