Details
The National Housing Federation is one of the nation’s most effective campaigning organisations, having secured a number of campaign and lobby victories. In the last four years, we have secured extra funding for the building of affordable housing, safeguarded full housing benefit for the unemployed and persuaded the big energy companies to cut the prepay meter tariff charged to poor energy customers.

We effectively shape the agenda on major housing and social justice issues, frequently meeting with ministers, shadow ministers and MPs.

The Public Affairs Manager will be central to ensuring that we get our key messages across to the Government, Opposition and party backbenchers, as well as maintaining our relationships with a wide range of political stakeholders. The role will be responsible for promoting our high profile campaign and lobby aims to Parliament and shaping legislation.

If you’re up for the challenge, then we want to hear from you.
