Details	We’re looking for an exceptional candidate to take on the role of Parliamentary and Public Affairs Manager. You’ll be responsible for the boroughs public affairs and lobbying programme from helping to ensure Newham residents get the Olympic legacy they were promised to lobbying for legislative changes and showcasing the innovative ways in which the borough is reshaping delivery of key public services. You’ll have an understanding of both Parliament and Whitehall and experience of working with Ministers, MPs and civil servants to deliver results. Equally important is the ability to build relationships with private sector partners and industry bodies, think tanks and opinion formers as well as other councils to help deliver Newham’s objectives.
