Salary is for 35 hour week, plus contributory pension, with alternative working patterns considered. Central London.
National Voices is “the leading coalition of health and social care charities” (Health Service Journal, December 2011), working to strengthen the voice of patients, service users, carers and voluntary organisations.
A young organisation, we are steadily building our profile and impact. In 2011 we helped revise the controversial health and social care bill and produced agenda-setting work on integrated care. Our chief executive is a workstream leader on the independent NHS Future Forum and was recently voted one of the 100 most influential people in health.
This is a new post as part of our growth plans and you will join a small, enthusiastic staff team, supporting the director of policy and other senior staff. You will help to build National Voices’ thought leadership role, developing and communicating our policy positions and products, working closely with members and partners, and influencing government, Parliament, NHS, professional bodies and regulators. You will lead on some aspects. With experience in policy or a related field, and a track record of achievement, you will have outstanding intellectual, communications and people skills.
