At the MS Society we put people affected by MS at the centre of everything we do, and it’s this commitment that unites us across the UK. Our work is based on the hopes and aspirations of people affected by MS, from campaigning at all levels and funding ground-breaking research, to providing information and specialist care.
Our people are key to our success, and we offer a vibrant, progressive environment where you will make a difference. Our Public Affairs team is award winning, but always looking to have more impact.
Details:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with the ability to develop and manage an innovative and creative public affairs programme, to influence government policy in the interests of people affected by MS. This is a challenging and genuinely exciting opportunity for someone who is self-motivated and ready to improve the lives of a significant group of people.
You will have proven experience of working in an influencing role, exceptional communication and analytical skills and demonstrable knowledge of Government policies affecting people with long-term, disabling conditions.
An understanding of the interplay between integrated campaigning and public affairs, including the ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion in response to a constantly changing political environment, is essential.
