Details	Leaseurope, the European Federation of Leasing Company Associations, is looking for a Policy Adviser to join its Brussels-based Secretariat. Leaseurope is the voice of the leasing and automotive rental industries in Europe and is composed of 45 Member Associations in 32 countries. JOB DESCRIPTION The position entails: •Identifying, monitoring, analyzing, advising and reporting on EU initiatives that may impact on the activities of leasing companies (e.g. anti-money laundering, insurance and credit mediation, supervision, etc.) •Providing the secretariat to various working groups and committees (involving the preparation of meeting agendas, supporting documents, minutes, etc.) •Drafting of position papers and reports •Advising on lobbying strategies and putting them into practice •Participating in relevant Working Groups of the European Banking Committee •Carrying out surveys and comparative analyses on leasing-related issues and presenting findings thereof to members •Representing the Federation vis-à-vis the EU institutions QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate will have: •Master degree in economics, business or law, with first rate academic record •Preferably 2 years of relevant work experience •Fluency in English (mother tongue or equivalent) essential •Good knowledge of the financial services industry and the EU institutional framework is a distinct asset •Thorough analytical skills •Demonstrated first class drafting and presentation skills •Problem-solving and ‘can do’ attitude •Ability to meet strict deadlines •Superior attention to details •Sense of diplomacy WE OFFER •The chance to become part of a pan-European entrepreneurial trade association •An intellectually challenging position •High visibility and close interaction with senior industry representatives •A small, flexible, young and energetic team •Opportunities to grow •A very pleasant working environment •A competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience
