Kreab Gavin Anderson has been in Brussels since 1988 and now has a major presence in the European Affairs consultancy market, with around 40 EU Affairs specialists in the Brussels office. We need people with a commitment to the highest standards of quality, excellent human relations skills, and an interest in EU policies and processes. Experience in financial services policy and regulation will be an advantage. Specific requirements include: 2 or more years of EU experience within consultancy, institutions, think tank or corporation. Proven capacity to collaborate effectively within an international team, requiring both cultural flexibility and a team-spirited approach. Demonstrable knowledge of the intricacies of EU processes and institutions, and personal experience of addressing them. Experience of financial services policy, with knowledge of securities markets and/or prudential regulation an advantage. The capacity to analyze and communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, the client-relevant aspects of complex policy issues. A capacity to build networks and gather intelligence. Proven organizational capacity, including for event management and campaigning. Fluent English and at least one other European language in addition.
