The Manager, Public Affairs Communications has responsibility for crafting and communicating internal and external messaging related to FedEx Government and Regulatory Affairs. This position, reporting to the Director, Crisis and Public Affairs Communications, plans, develops, monitors and coordinates communications on legislative, regulatory, and U.S. trade issues among the FedEx operating companies.
The Manager, Public Affairs Communications will build awareness of the company’s brand, promote its international operations and growth, improve executive communications, and enhance the corporation’s overall presence in Washington, DC, and other signi? cant government locations. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related ? eld. Masters degree a plus. Five or more years work experience in media relations and/or strategic corporate communications working with top executives. Experience in public affairs, regulatory and/or governmental affairs strongly desired. Strong analytical, project leadership, organizational and communications skills required.
