The Fairtrade Foundation is a passionate and ambitious global development organisation committed to tackling poverty and injustice through trade. We are best known as the independent, not-for-profit body behind the FAIRTRADE Mark, a product label assuring consumers that their purchase helps disadvantaged farmers and workers in developing countries secure a better deal.
We are seeking a Senior Research and Impact Manager to lead the Foundation’s programme to understand, demonstrate and disseminate the impact of Fairtrade for producers, their families and communities and the wider impact of Fairtrade on society, government and corporate behaviour.
As a graduate or post-graduate with academic qualifications in agricultural or development economics, business or a related discipline appropriate to analysis of Fairtrade, you will bring a proven track record of relevant research and understanding of different approaches to monitoring and evaluation. Ideally, you will also have previous experience of working on trade and/or fair trade issues, in relation to international development and poverty reduction, or knowledge of standards and certification systems and their role in bringing about change in practice.
Late applications will not be accepted.
