European Lobbying
......................................................................................................................
The European lobbying scene is a vast and sophisticated one, with European branches of the big name communications consultancies mixing it with Brussels-based specialists. With the EU system far more open to the voices of external influences than most national systems, many companies see the European Union as a key stakeholder battleground - particular when the decisions made there have the capacity to affect over five hundred million people.
On this page we've listed some of the most valuable to links to European public affairs available on the web - on both sides of the fence. Monolinguists will be pleased to hear that the vast majority of EU information is in English...
Loads of information on European public policy here - plenty of discussion on the big political issues like climate change, regularly updated news bulletins and a good list of Europe-based jobs.
Not updated for a while unfortunately, but still some useful resources and links. Includes the AALEP - the Association of Accredited Lobbyists to the European Parliament.
