Our client is one of the most proactive and effective trade associations in the UK, responsible for representing the positions of the leading manufacturers in a highly challenging business sector. Responding to a number of evolutionary changes for the industry, the association is going through a period of review to ensure it is best placed to serve its members future needs as successfully as it has done historically. As part of this process, the Association is recruiting for a new Campaign Manager.
Your role will be to manage the Association's stakeholder engagement activities on behalf of its members. This will involve planning and project managing campaigns, providing advice to stakeholders as well as managing board and senior management level relationships with a broad range of stakeholder groups. You will also be responsible for coordinating attendance at political party and other conferences and for managing and developing a team of Stakeholder Account Executives.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail. Line- management experience, along with excellent written and oral communications skills are essential. You will also need to be a strong project manager, have political acumen, sound judgment and be capable of building consensus amongst stakeholders.
