BirdLife International is a global Partnership of nature conservation Civil Society Organisations that strives to conserve birds, their habitats and global biodiversity, working with people towards sustainability in the use of natural resources through global Partnership of over 100 countries.
BirdLife International Secretariat is the coordinating and servicing body of BirdLife International. The European Division is an international team of permanent staff who collectively provide a wide range of experience and skills within the fields of ornithology, conservation, management, fundraising, advocacy, communication, administration.
Conservation International (CI) is a global NGO committed to helping societies adopt a more sustainable approach to development. It works in more than 40 countries in Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Pacific. CI targets priority marine areas, biodiversity hotspots, Earth’s biologically richest and most threatened places and high-biodiversity wilderness areas.
We are jointly seeking an EU Financial Perspectives Policy Officer, based in Brussels. The Policy Officer will help the BirdLife Partnership and CI ensure that:
Reporting to the BirdLife Head of EU Policy and to CI European Policy Director, you will work closely with Staff from BirdLife Partners and other regional Divisions and the headquarters in Cambridge (UK) and with all CI-Europe staff, the Center for Conservation and Government (CCG), field and thematic programmes as appropriate.
