The role will be to represent the interests of the holiday, residential and touring parks industry and provide policy advice to Association members. The Policy / Communications Executive will be required to travel, lobbying Government and decision-makers. Key to success will be the preparation and presentation of the industry’s case through submissions and articles, drawing on the expertise of the Association’s advisers and in consultation with the industry membership. This must be coupled with the ability to communicate often technical issues to the Association’s members through a variety of media: magazines, www, letters, conferences and telephone.
Key to the role will be the ability to interpret and communicate regulatory and technical requirements to the owners and managers of small businesses.
The role is to join the team in ensuring the representation of industry interests in the lobby to European, UK, National and local government and to communicate regulatory issues to the BH&HPA membership.

About BH&HPA
BH&HPA is the national trade association for a £3 billion industry. 2,000 BH&HPA members own and manage 3,000 holiday, caravan, camping, and residential parks.
We provide a wide range of membership services:
BH&HPA staff work from modern, air-conditioned premises close to Gloucester City Centre. On-site parking facilities are available, free-of-charge.
The Association was founded in 1950 and currently has an annual turnover in excess of £2 million.
