The British Academy, the UK’s national Academy for the humanities and social sciences, is seeking to recruit an outstanding individual to the post of Senior Policy Advisor.
The position provides a great opportunity for an individual with a track record in policy development to join the small team of the Academy’s Policy Centre. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of higher education policy and public policy and possess first rate analytical, drafting and editing skills. S/he will have experience of engaging with policy makers and those who influence policy, a keen interest in shaping policy with knowledge gained from research and an ability to deliver projects in collaboration with a wide range of individuals and organisations. This is a fixed term position for a period of two years in the first instance. Salary range is £30-£40k, depending on experience. The Academy offers excellent benefits and one of best locations in London.
