Details	National professional association seeks individual to advance the association’s public policy agenda by coordinating the association’s grassroots and political action committee activities; arranging opportunities for Association members to interact with their legislators, and pursuing lobbying activities that will lead to positive policy outcomes. The incumbent will also serve as a lobbyist for the organization. This person will oversee all aspects of ASHA-PAC, including fundraising and disbursements, accurate recording of all transactions, and serve as assistant treasurer to the ASHA-PAC. This person will also develop and operationalize organizational grassroots campaigns, with the goal of increasing broad grassroots (members, consumers and other constituencies) in support of the association’s public policy agenda. We are looking for someone with a degree in political or social science, journalism, or related field and five or more years’ experience in a similar position.
