Terms and Conditions

By agreeing to pay for an advertisement to be posted on the Public Affairs Links website and/or circulated by Public Affairs Links the Client is deemed to accept these terms and conditions.

Following agreement on price between Public Affairs Links and the Client, and after acknowledging receipt of the final approved copy of the advertisement, Public Affairs Links will circulate an advertisement to Public Affairs Links subscribers by e-mail only and/or will post the advertisement on the Public Affairs Links website. Public Affairs Links will agree with the Client a time period during which the advertisement will be circulated and/or posted on the Public Affairs Links website. Whilst every effort will be made to circulate the advertisement and/or post the advertisement on the Public Affairs Links website within the agreed time period, Public Affairs Links accepts no responsibility for the consequences of technical faults, all other interruptions or delays to providing the service, however these may be caused.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that advertisements submitted for circulation and/or posting on the Public Affairs Links website by Public Affairs Links comply with English and international laws. Advertisements submitted to Public Affairs Links for circulation and/or posting on the Public Affairs Links website must be legal, decent, honest and truthful. Public Affairs Links reserves the right to refuse and/or amend any advertisement from the Client.

Public Affairs Links reserves the right to not publish any advertisement or feature which the editor believes to be irrelevant or inappropriate for the website's readership.

Public Affairs Links does not guarantee responses to advertisements. The Client agrees not to hold Public Affairs Links liable for the responses or enquiries generated by the advertisement.

Public Affairs Links will not place the Client's advertisement on other websites. The Client agrees not to hold Public Affairs Links liable for any unauthorised copying or reproduction of advertisement content by third parties outside the control of Public Affairs Links. After circulating the advertisement to the Public Affairs Links subscribers and/or posting the advertisement on the Public Affairs Links website, Public Affairs Links retains the copyright on the advertisement.

Invoices will be issued following the circulation and/or posting on the website of advertisements. Public Affairs Links invoices are due for payment within 21 days of issue. Public Affairs Links reserves the right to charge interest on any sums outstanding after the payment due date until the date of payment at a rate of 3% above the HSBC bank rate.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law. Any disputes shall be decided by the English courts. These terms and conditions of business are effective from 19 August 2008.
