Details
This is a crucial role that will play a key part of changing the lives of vulnerable children and young people for the better. The successful applicant will:

• Increase the profile and influence the activity of Action for Children in Westminster
• Build relationships with key decision makers outside of Westminster
• Lead parliamentary work to successfully deliver our policy and campaigning priorities

Action for Children is committed to helping the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK break through injustice, deprivation and inequality, so they can achieve their full potential. We are looking for a motivated and influential professional to lead an ambitious programme of public affairs. To take forward our ambitious programme of political activity, you will:

• have an excellent working knowledge of Parliament and Whitehall
• be able to naturally influence both internal and external stakeholders
• have outstanding communication skills
• be able to disseminate complex information easily, and work both independently and cooperatively
• be focussed on changing the lives of children and young people
